• Cyber liability insurance provides coverage against threats, or security breaches, involving computer systems and data where sensitive customer information may be exposed (this may include credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, health records, etc.)

• This insurance responds when your practice is damaged due to a cyber security breach. For example, if you have a data breach that results in your patients’ sensitive information being stolen, your cyber liability insurance may pay for data recovery as well as your legal fees and costs.
